Life Sharing

Enriching Lives Together: ProBerco Life Sharing Program
A shared life is a life enriched,” highlighting the profound value of sharing one’s experiences, joys, and challenges with others. Through the ProBerco Life Sharing Program, an individual is matched with a family that is willing to open their home to another, fostering a sense of belonging, support, and fulfillment for the adult with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Life Sharing agreements can be a rich and rewarding experience for both individuals and families providing the service.

For the Life Sharing Provider:
Becoming an Independent Life Sharing Contractor is a significant decision but offers many rewards for people who want to do more to serve their community.
Become an Independent Life Sharing Provider if you want to:
- know you are making a difference in the life of an adult with a disability.
- provide a safe, stable, and loving home for an adult with a disability and improve their well-being.
- develop a meaningful relationship with another person that can last a lifetime.
- know you are helping to build a strong community by resolving housing needs of adults with disabilities.
ProBerco works with families to become Independent Life Sharing Contractors. Once a family is eligible, ProBerco will align the family with an individual who is interested in participating in the Life Sharing program.
