Volunteer Opportunities
Board of Directors
The governing body of the Corporation, which meets every
other month beginning in January. Meetings are on the second Wednesday at 8:00
a.m. Elections of board positions are held in November. Directors are
elected to serve a two-year term and can serve up to three consecutive
two-year terms.
Advisory Committees:

Finance Committee - Meets monthly to review the
overall fiscal operations of the Corporation, including but not limited to
budgets, employee compensation, major purchases, and other expenditures.

Golf Committee - A subgroup of Development, the
golf committee meets monthly January-May, bi-monthly in June, and weekly
in July to discuss and execute planning for the Corporation’s annual
tournament. Volunteers to help on the day of the tournament are also
always needed.

Personnel Committee - Meets as needed to
periodically review personnel policies, keep up to date in current trends
of personnel management, and make recommendations to the Finance Committee
concerning employee compensation.

Property Committee - Discusses facility and
property issues including the buildings /equipment; safety precautions;
and advises the Board of Directors on issues related to property matters.
The Property Committee meets quarterly at 3:00 p.m. on the last Thursday
of the month.

Special Events - A subgroup of Development, this
committee plans larger fund raising activities.
Volunteering with Program Participants
Throughout the numerous services we provide for people
with disabilities, there are opportunities to see first hand how staff
support these individuals with disabilities.

Light Landscaping
We are looking for volunteers to help with light
landscaping at our residential homes. Duties would vary but might include
mulching, raking, planting and hedge trimming. Please contact
